Back at work. It’s so cold this morning, clear, crystalline, golden weather. Overcoats, woolen neck scarves, my leopard gloves and a Christmas sweater I couldn’t wait to wear. Back and neck and shoulder much better, but have to wear a wrist brace. Yesterday was such a cozy day to spend at home. Gray and child, wrapped up in an afghan, blissfully relaxed from a muscle relaxer and heating pad. Completely relaxed. I had taped the movie, “Breakheart Pass,” with Charles Bronson and Jill Ireland, a Western surprisingly written by Alistair MacLean, but full of intrigue and adventure, and, just like his other adventures, “Ice Station Zebra,” and “Where Eagles Dare,” filmed during winter, in an icy, snowy landscape that I love.
