This is for our veterans who fought the good fight, with dedication and honor.

This is also for Ste. Jeanne D’Arc, another great veteran, whose feast day it is today.  Grande Merci!

Undated handout photo of a portrait of Joan of Arc by Rubens issued by the Imperial War Museum. Diana, Princess of Wales’s Angola body armour, Mata Hari’s stage costume and photographer Lee Miller’s camera were being shown in a historic exhibition honouring Women and War, Thursday 9 October 2003. The major collection, to be launched at London’s Imperial War Museum, chronicles women’s involvement in conflict from the First World War to the present day. There is also an introductory section which includes Catherine the Great’s military-inspired crinoline, a Nightingale nurse’s sash and stories of women who fought disguised as men.
