Thinking about Nigel Terry’s, drooling, hump-faced, Prince John in, “The Lion in Winter,” I’m remembering one of my favorite scenes between two fine actors:  Prince John is lamenting his mistreatment, and says, “If I were on fire, no one would piss on me to put me out.”  Older brother Richard, played by Anthony Hopkins, gleams this beautiful Cheshire cat grin and replies, “Strike a flint and see.”
